A Different Kind of Social-Emotional Training.

One for you to experience.

You’ve made it through another school year… barely.

You’ve done your best to hold it all together with the lesson plans, the big emotions, the never-ending to-do list.

Your patience is thin. Your heart is a bit heavy.

Your nervous system is one more email away from snapping.

And the teacher “self-care” PD? Cute. But not practical.

You don’t need another toolkit or system to manage your class.
You need space to come back to yourself.
To soften.
To feel.
To rebuild from within.

Imagine...

Imagine arriving at school feeling grounded instead of already depleted before the day begins.

Imagine noticing stress building in your body and knowing how to respond before it becomes overwhelm.

Imagine teaching social-emotional learning from lived experience rather than from a script or curriculum guide.

Imagine moving through difficult moments with students feeling calmer, more present, and more connected to yourself.

Imagine ending the school day tired, but not completely emptied of everything you have to give.

Imagine carrying the same wisdom, compassion, and care that you offer your students back toward yourself.

You can learn all the social-emotional strategies in the world, but when you experience regulation, emotional awareness, and presence for yourself, those skills stop being something you teach.

They become part of who you are.

Most trainings stop at information.
But it’s hard to teach what you haven’t embodied.

Embodied Educator helps you actually feel what regulation, emotional clarity, and grounded presence are so that teaching SEL becomes natural, not scripted.

Because kids don’t need a perfectly worded lesson.
They need a steady adult who lives what they’re learning.

The classroom doesn’t need more control.
It needs more regulation and that starts in your own body.

Are You Ready To...

...feel more grounded and supported in your own life, not just in your role as a teacher?

...experience social-emotional learning in your own body before bringing it into the classroom?

...develop simple practices that help you return to calm, clarity, and connection throughout your day?

...approach your students' emotions with greater confidence because you understand your own more deeply?

...begin the next school year feeling more resourced, present, and connected to the educator you want to be?

Here is the space and time to do it.

Your Journey Through Embodied Educator

Module 01

Come Home to Your Body

Regulation, Restoration, and Realignment

This part is all about calming your system and reconnecting with your physical self. You’ll learn how to recognize your stress states, use micro-rituals to regulate, and release tension stored in your fascia and lymph. We’ll explore how your body holds the story of the school year and how to gently let that go. It’s like a deep exhale for your nervous system.

Module 02

Feel It to Heal It

Emotional Awareness, Expression, and Co-Regulation

You can’t lead SEL if you’ve lost access to your own emotions. In this part, you’ll practice softening your inner critic, naming what you feel (with more than just “tired” or “stressed”), and safely moving emotion through your body. You’ll learn how co-regulation really works and how to protect your heart without numbing it.

Module 03

Rewire Your Mindset

Mental Clarity, Mindfulness, and Inner Wisdom

Here’s where we shift from survival mode into creative, conscious presence. You’ll unpack common thought loops (like “I’m not doing enough”), build mental flexibility, and use gratitude, wonder, and visualization as real brain tools — not just feel-good ideas. This is where you learn to pause, pivot, and lead with clarity.

Module 04

Teach It Forward

Practical Tools to Bring SEL Into the Classroom

This is where it all comes together. You’ll learn how to model regulation, create rhythms that support emotional safety, and embed small SEL practices into your day without needing a new curriculum. You’re not just learning SEL here, you’re becoming it. Your presence will teach long before your words do.  But, yes, you will gain concrete activities and ideas you can begin in your classroom on day one.

What You Will Walk Away With:

This isn’t just another training. It’s a reset for your body, your heart, and your mind. By the end of Embodied Educator, you’ll have:

* A deeper connection to your own nervous system, so you can respond — not just react

* Tools to help you feel grounded and calm, even when things get chaotic

* A way to process the emotional weight of teaching, without pretending everything’s fine

* Practical micro-rituals that bring you back to yourself in real time

* Co-regulation skills that help your students feel safe and seen without you burning out.

* The confidence to model emotional intelligence, not just teach about it

*Practical ways to bring Social/Emotional Learning to your classroom.

What Others
Have Experienced

"(This was) excellent for my self calm.  It reminded me that others feel the same way at work and that we can cope with it through the learning moments you taught us!"

Fiona, elementary school teacher

"I really enjoyed the lessons, I feel like I am approaching the start of school tomorrow morning much more calmly than ever before. I look forward to doing some things with my students to pull in the energy I learned here. Thank you for a wonderful opportunity for growth, I know it will make a difference for me this school year."

Missy, 6th grade science teacher

Hi! I'm Danielle.

I'm happy you are here!

I am a teacher, curriculum creator, owner of Wonder Garden Curriculum, certified mind-body instructor, and currently completing advanced coursework in Nervous System Regulation.

But before any of those titles, I am a deeply feeling human who once believed I could power through anything with enough heart.

After my third year of teaching, I could feel something shifting. The joy I once brought into the classroom was beginning to fade. My patience felt thinner. I loved teaching, but I knew I needed something more sustainable.

I didn't have the language for it at the time, but I began searching.

That search led me into nearly twenty years of exploring somatic practices, breathwork, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, movement, and the connection between our bodies and our well-being.

And while that journey was unfolding, I continued teaching.

Over the years, I have worked in inner-city Chicago schools, private schools, special education settings, homeschooling environments, early childhood classrooms, and my own nature-based preschool. The practices and tools you'll find inside this course were not developed in isolation. They have been lived, tested, refined, and adapted in real educational settings with real children and real educators...including me!

Embodied Educator is the course I wish I had during those early years of teaching. Not because it would have removed the challenges, but because it would have helped me stay connected to myself while navigating them.

This course isn't about fixing yourself. It's about remembering yourself.

It's about returning to the part of you that is calm, connected, wise, and already knows how to be present.

Because the most powerful social-emotional learning we can offer children is often what we are willing to embody ourselves.

You’re not broken. You’re not behind.
You’re just ready to stop pretending you’re fine.
And that is where the real work begins.

This is for you if…

  • You're craving more calm, presence, and joy in your work.
  • You care deeply (maybe too deeply).
  • You love teaching but you're tired of feeling emotionally drained.
  • You want to support your students without sacrificing yourself.
  • You believe social-emotional learning matters but wish it felt more authentic.
  • You've spent years caring for everyone else and are ready to invest in yourself.
  • You want your presence to be the calm in the room, not the chaos
  • You’re ready for emotional support that actually supports
  • You’re here to raise or teach emotionally resilient humans, but also need a reset of your own
  • You want to lead with presence, not pressure.
